East West Organics and Unique Places to Save are pleased to announce the opening of their latest farm-to-beverage venture, the Looking Glass Tasting Room. Celebrating its grand opening this Sunday, April 15, the Tasting Room is located next to one of Carrboro’s great community gathering spots, the Looking Glass Cafe.
While the Cafe features locally-roasted coffee and local tea goodness from our friends at Honeysuckle Tea House and Farm, the Tasting Room will be a destination for those seeking the very best in alt-craft beverages from around North Carolina. These beverages include seasonal craft beers, organic wines, dry wines and ciders, and meads. Current partners include Orange County’s Botanist and Barrel, rethinking cider and fruit wine with big creativity and small production.
Also poured at the Tasting Room: seasonal craft beers fromHillsborough’s Mystery Brewing, Carrboro’s Starpoint Brewing, and Haw River Farmhouse Ales of Saxapahaw; ciders from Chatham Cider Works and wines from Fair Game Beverage Co of Chatham County.
And coming later this summer: seasonal meads from the all-new Honeysuckle Meadery.
